CUSTOMER APP FEATURES

USER REGISTRATION

The Shyp Clone / EasyVan Clone / Lalamove Clone has a custom sign up form for users that has them confirm their number by sending an OTP via SMS.

LOGIN

The user can login to the Uber for trucks app using his email and password. If a user has forgot his pass-word he can reset the same via a web link that will be sent on the registered email id.

 

STORE CREDIT CARD DETAILS

 

Users can store their card details on stripe which is PCI compliant. We use stripe.com as our default payment gateway and it provides a secure way to store credit card information. All the payments are processed using the stripe API. Delivery agents can add their bank details via the admin interface securely. The stored card is used to make cash-less payment on the Uber for on demand deliveries script.

REFERRAL CODE / PROMO CODES (ADD-ON)

Users can enter a friend’s referral code to register on the Uber for delivery and if this is used:

  • New user gets a discount code
  • Person who referred also gets a discount code

SPOT DELIVERY VEHICLES LIVE ON MAP

Users can see the delivery agents live around them just like Uber shows taxis around, these are organized by types (bikes, cars ,vans,trucks etc.)  and these types can be setup for each city from the admin interface. Each type will have:

  1. Unique fare setup setup as price / distance or price / time
  2. Unique map icon
  3. Unique app icon when type is selected and when its not

SHIPMENT DETAILS

Users can enter details of the goods they wish to ship, this is broken into 2 steps:

  1. Shipment Details – Image of the shipment which can be useful to the delivery agent, weight of the goods, number of goods and details of the shipment.
  2. Recipient Details – You can store frequently used receiver details here as mostly users ship to the same receivers, each receiver will have the following details:
  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address

The recipient can be sent live tracking details by SMS. Receiver will receive tracking details by SMS and can click on the link and track the shipment live.

The booking request compilation is complete after completing the 2 steps above and a fare quote is generated based on the mileage between the pickup and drop point using the google API.

PROMOTIONS

Users can enter promotion codes in the text field provided to earn discounts. Promotions can be created in the backend interface and can be distributed by PUSH NOTIFICATIONS (targeted marketing) or by email campaigns. This is a great add on to have to increase the virility of the app and get more users to use the app.

DELIVERY FLOW (On-demand pickup-delivery)

Customer can submit a booking for an immediate pickup. The user by now has chosen the type of vehicle he needs, goods details, pickup address and also the recipient details. The booking process is follows:

  • Job Dispatch – Job is sent in a round-robin manner to vehicles closest to the pickup-address. Job is sent to the 5 closest drivers and each driver is given 30s to respond. If one driver avoids the booking or rejects the booking the booking is passed onto the next closest driver in a round-robin manner.
  • Wait for driver to be on the way – Once a driver accepts the booking the user is taken to the current orders page from where he can get all driver details while he waits for the driver to be on the way and can also cancel the booking if he has changed his mind.
  • Driver on the way- Once the driver is on the way he can be tracked live on the map just like an uber taxi.
  • Driver Arrived – Once driver has arrived the live tracking stops and user is shown status updates in a vertical status tracker.
  • Vehicle Loaded and on the way to delivery – User is informed once driver is loaded and driver has left to the delivery location. Here we have left the possibility open for users to add a loading fee if needed which could be fixed or charged based on time. The recipient is sent a link on which he can track the status of the booking on web map and the sender can track the LIVE STATUS from the booking details screen.
  • Vehicle un-loaded – User is updated when the driver reaches the designated drop point and has unloaded the vehicle
  • Booking Complete – When the driver has unloaded the vehicle he captures the receivers name, email and signature to confirm the booking as verified and complete. User’s stored credit card is charged and the user is sent an invoice for the booking by email and also a push notification is received on his device.

 

MULTIPLE BOOKINGS

User can submit more than 1 delivery at a time from the same pickup point by ADDING SHIPMENTS, such split orders can go to different recipients but are billed just once and are also carried out by the same delivery agent.

The app also allows you to submit more than 1 order separately in case user needs different vehicles for each delivery and not the same. Here each order is billed separately.

Each booking is charged individually and if there are multiple orders each order is charged based on distance between the pickup point and delivery point.

BOOK FOR LATER WITHOUT DISPATCH

Here the booking request is sent to a web dispatch system. The person manning the web dispatch system will find the best possible vehicle to full-fill the job and will send him the request. Once a driver confirms the booking the booking details are confirmed to the customer. This is ideal for situations when there is no proper supply demand match and the man in the middle is required.

BOOKING HISTORY

The customer can track his current on-going bookings from the CURRENT ORDER tab and can track past orders from the PAST ORDER tab. Current bookings are updated in real time and this screen allows the customer to track more than 1 booking at the same time on the Shyp Clone / EasyVan Clone / Lalamove Clone

SHARE APP

 

The customer can share his referral code with others via facebook, twitter, email and SMS. This increases the virility of the Shyp Clone / EasyVan Clone / Lalamove Clone and helps increase the virility of the app.

LIVE TRACKING

 

If an SMS gateway is used and if this add on is purchased the app can send a live tracking URL to the recipient via SMS. The recipient can click on this URL and live track the delivery agent from his mobile / web browser on the Uber for delivery app source code.

DELIVERY NINJA/ DRIVER APP:

ACCEPT/REJECT BOOKINGS

The driver can accept/reject multiple bookings on any screen. The method of manual scheduling is carried out by the driver to judge whether he can full-fill the customer’s request or not. On accepting the booking, the booking is scheduled on his home screen and if rejected the booking is sent to the next available driver.

BOOKING FLOW

The driver can update the status for each booking directly from the app. The driver can see the shipment details for each order and can also manage multiple deliveries from the same pickup point. The status updates for the driver are as follows:

  1. On the way to pickup
  2. Arrived at pickup point
  3. Vehicle loaded and delivery started
  4. Arrived at drop point
  5. Vehicle unloaded and delivery completed with recipient signature confirmation

HISTORY

Drivers / Delivery Agents can track their booking history from this screen on the app.

PROFILE

Drivers / Delivery Agents can see their profile details and also booking statistics from this screen on the app.
